David Greenfield
Global Managing Director

David is the Global Managing Director of Edison Morgan and leads the Hong Kong office. Prior to his appointment in October 2007, David was with Korn/Ferry International as the Senior Client Partner and Practice Leader for Insurance Asia Pacific and Middle East (a total of 18 countries). Throughout his career within executive search, David has focused on the Insurance sector within the Asia Pacific region and has subsequently traveled extensively throughout the region and has accumulated a comprehensive understanding of the sector, as well as the local current and potential talent pool.

Before moving into executive search David completed 26 years in the Royal Navy as a Warfare Office, during this time he served in a number of ‘trouble spots’ around the world including the Falklands, Balkans and Northern Ireland. One of his last appointments was as the Senior Officer in charge of Officer recruitment for central England and Wales.

David is a graduate of Dartmouth Naval College and a member of the Chartered Institute for Personnel Development (CIPD).

   
Ian Faragher
Managing Director, Australia and New Zealand

Ian has over 30 years insurance experience, having held regional and country manager positions in China, including Shanghai, Hong Kong and Taipei, Thailand, Singapore and Australia. He has also held senior underwriting and management positions in Australia and the United States. Over the course of his career, Ian has worked with leading insurance institutions such as Lloyds, Liberty Mutual and Chubb.

Ian has a Bachelor of Civil Engineering from the University of Sydney.

   
Deborah Webster
Regional Director, Middle East

Deborah Webster is an executive search professional specialising in senior appointments in the Middle East financial services sector. She has lived in the region for over 20 years, giving her a unique understanding of its diverse cultural norms and social sensitivities. Her four years conducting senior level search assignments has provided her with insights and understanding of the personality traits that will determine an individual’s success within a client’s particular organisation.

Deborah holds a BSc in Psychology and Business Studies from the University of Buckingham, UK, and is of dual British-Maltese citizenship.

   
Alex Hunter
Client Manager, UK & Western Europe

Covering the markets from London, Alex has over 7 years experience in recruitment, originally starting in Investment Banking and more recently incorporating the Insurance market. Over the years, he has built a strong network of contacts in the City, and with a number of Lloyds Syndicates.

Alex graduated from St. Andrews University, with a Master of Theology.

   
Magdalena Bucka
Managing Director, Europe

Magdalena has a several years’ experience in conducting recruitment
and consultancy projects for middle and top management positions in
Central and Eastern Europe. Her professional activities also included a
number of assignments related to the development and assessment of
organisational talent including Assessment Centers and Management
Audits.

Magdalena is a graduate of English Philology from the Maria Curie
Sklodowska University in Lublin.
